Nicola Douek: JEWELLERY IN ANCIENT EGYPT - Gold of the Pharaohs
Lecturer:
Nicole Douek was born in Cairo of a Sephardic family, grew up in Italy and has lived in London for most of her adult life. She holds a Diploma in Archaeology from London University, having graduated from University College with a degree in Ancient History and Egyptology. She is a freelance lecturer at the British Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York
Nicole Douek lectures to a number of archaeological and historical societies, as well as the University of the Third Age, and has led tours to Egypt, Syria and Jordan. She excavated at Memphis with the Egypt Exploration Society, and is co-author of Great Events of Bible Times.
